There’s a Saying in Copywriting

…If You Can’t Touch The Heart Of A Prospect, They’ll Never Let You Touch Their Wallet.

Touching a prospect’s heart, soul, and sensibilities in order to evoke a response is the foundation of great copywriting.  Being able to articulate emotion and coupling that with logic can be an extremely powerful mode of persuasion.

When the goal is to elicit action – whether it’s curating volunteers, getting your audience to connect to a particular cause or charity, or enticing a prospect to click the link and make a purchase – you must always stir their emotions.  Without this component, your copy falls flat.  Unfortunately, so will your objective. It’s pretty simple:  touch their heart and they’ll let you touch their wallet.

Don’t Turn Off your Prospects – Turn Them On To Your Message.
